Once you arrive at the Guwahati airport or railway station, you'll be greeted by our representative who will then escort you to Nameri National Park, located in Assam’s Sonitpur district. After reaching, you'll check into your resort and enjoy a peaceful evening to unwind.

On the second day of our Tawang package tour, start your morning with an early walking tour in Nameri National Park. After breakfast around 10 AM, embark on a scenic 170 km drive to the beautiful Dirang Valley. Along the way, pass through the untouched beauty of Rupa and Tenga Valley, with the Jia Bhoroli River flowing beside you, creating an unforgettable journey.

On your journey, stop at the TDL Buddhist Monastery before crossing the Sela Tunnel and Sela Pass. Spend some time by Sela Lake, soaking in the serene views. Next, visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial to pay tribute to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, a brave soldier from the 1962 Indo-China War. Afterward, continue your journey to Tawang. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, relax for the night, and prepare for the adventures ahead.

After breakfast, we'll head to the Tawang Monastery, the largest in India and the second largest in Asia. This impressive monastery features a three-storied assembly hall and a magnificent golden statue of Lord Buddha. It also includes a large library and an ancient museum displaying Buddhist paintings, ceremonial masks, and more. Located at an elevation of around 10,000 feet, the monastery provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After enjoying the tranquility of the monastery, we’ll visit Ani Gompa, situated atop a beautiful hill that overlooks the deep valley below.

Located 38 km (2.5 hours) from Tawang and sitting at 15,200 feet above sea level, this area offers a glimpse into the history of the Indo-Sino War while showcasing breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains. As it is an Army restricted zone, prior permits and passes are required for entry. On your way, visit the stunning high-altitude Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake), Panga Teng Tso Lake (P.T. Tso Lake), and Nagula Lake. Sangetsar Lake features a lovely walking trail and a small canteen run by the Indian Army that serves delicious food. In the evening, return to Tawang and unwind at your hotel for the night.

After an early breakfast, we’ll begin our return journey to Bomdila (181 km), stopping en route to admire the stunning Jung Waterfall (Nuranang Falls). Upon reaching Bomdila, check into your hotel for some refreshments. Later, visit the Bomdila Monastery (Upper Gompa), where you can experience the rich traditions of Buddhism. Don’t miss the chance to explore the local market, where you'll find beautiful Tibetan-style trinkets and various stationery items.

We’ll begin our return journey to Guwahati via Kalaktang and Shergaon, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. The entire trip will take approximately 7 to 8 hours, depending on weather and road conditions. Upon arrival, we'll drop you off at Guwahati Airport or the railway station, based on your convenience. With many sweet memories, your Arunachal tour comes to a delightful end.
